Service

Stage Mechanics

Stage machinery and rigging — hoists, bars, curtains, lifts and motorised systems — designed for safe, reliable daily operation.

Stage mechanics covers everything that moves or carries load above and around the stage: motorised and manual fly bars, point and chain hoists, main and intermediate curtains and tracks, orchestra or stage lifts, and the structure that supports them. The design begins with the loads — scenery, lighting, audio, drapes — and the working-load limits, safety factors and access the venue requires.

Safety and compliance are the core of the discipline. Powered machinery is designed and documented to the Machinery Directive and the relevant performance-rigging standards, with overload protection, limit switches, emergency stop and clear control zones. For schools and cultural venues we keep operation simple and the safe usage rules explicit, so non-specialist staff can work without risk.

We coordinate mechanics with lighting, acoustics and AV so bars, reflectors, screens and clusters do not collide, and we deliver the documentation an installer and inspector need: layouts, load schedules, control logic and maintenance requirements. The aim is machinery that is safe, predictable and easy to maintain.

Why Acoustic Delta

Acoustic Delta keeps acoustic targets, system design, documentation and commissioning in one engineering workflow, so the installed result can be checked against measurable criteria.
