Banquet Hall — Main PA, Background Zones and Show Lighting

A new banquet hall needed a sound and light package that could carry an evening from quiet dining through to a live set or karaoke, without a technician on hand. We designed and installed the stage and show side of the venue.

Two modes, one room

A compact but powerful main system — JBL PRX412M tops with JBL PRX418S subwoofers driven by Crown amplification — handles events, live acts and karaoke. Around the perimeter, discreet CVGaudio wall loudspeakers provide even background coverage for the rest of the room, so the hall stays comfortable when the main system is off.

Light and flexibility

The hall is fitted with lighting for disco and concert programmes, and the audio system is built with spare inputs so guest performers can patch in their own equipment quickly. The venue’s own staff switch between dining and show modes without re-patching.

Result

One flexible room that moves from background music to a full concert PA and back, run by the people who work there every day.
