Installation and Commissioning

Installation and commissioning is the stage where a design becomes a working system. A well-specified project can still disappoint if loudspeakers are aimed by eye, cabling is improvised, or the system is switched on and left at factory settings. We install to the drawings and commission to measured targets, so the room performs the way it was designed to on the day it opens.

Installation done to the documentation

Mounting, rigging and cabling follow the approved drawings and the relevant safety requirements. Loudspeakers are positioned and aimed to the coverage plan; racks are built, labelled and dressed so the system can be serviced later without guesswork; cable runs are tested and documented. Getting the physical layer right is what makes the tuning stage fast and the system reliable for years afterwards.

Commissioning and measurement

Commissioning is where the system is actually made to sound right. Using measurement tools we set gain structure through the whole signal chain, apply equalisation and delay so coverage is even and time-aligned, and confirm level and speech intelligibility against the design targets across the audience area. Every setting is chosen from data and recorded, not left to preference.

Handover you can rely on

At handover you receive the commissioning records — the measurements taken, the settings applied, and the as-built documentation — together with training for the people who will run the room. The system is left in a known, documented state, so future support starts from facts rather than from reverse-engineering someone else’s work.

Whether we designed the system or you did, we can install and commission it to a verified standard.
